Clothes or No Clothes?- LMFAO

It has been a long and unspoken norm that people normally wear clothes when out in public. Many restaurants have even taken it as far as posting signs stating, "no shoes, no shirt, no service." In this video, LMFAO and their friends spend almost the entire video wearing nothing but speedos and sneakers and even saying how although they may not be wearing shoes or shirts, they still get service.

  1. Something to think about is even though our society believes that wearing next to nothing goes against social norms, when you compare what we consider violations to other countries beliefs we are a very modest culture. Ads that we ban from television and build boards of naked people is considered normal in other cultures and societies.

For example when i first saw the new Dolce and Gabbana commercial i was taken aback and how explicit the commercial was but in other cultures they may have shown way more skin and that would have been considered normal and acceptable.

  3. You're right that what we wear depends a *lot* on the local culture. For example, why not wear a dishdasha, a sari, or a grass skirt? They're all at least as comfortable as sweats...
