The purpose of this blog is to have one cohesive summary of the findings of the CAS 100C Social Norms Investigation group. Here we will have video logs of experiments we carry out, summaries and comments we wish to make, examples from the media we've found of typical social norms (or of people breaking them), and anything else we find or do that might be relevant. Happy reading!
Experiments
One of the components of our Social Normal Investigation is experimentation. For this piece, we'll be planning the reversals of social norms, or doing things that might not be completely socially acceptable, and documenting our results. In most cases this will mean video taping the experiment and the reactions of those around us at the time. Afterwards, we'll comment on what we've seen and done. Anything with the label "Experiments" on the main page are part of this component.
